ESS recently implemented an automated “A/V Jackpot Event” solution for an Indiana-based casino.
The casino had an existing enterprise A/V system that featured hardware and software from Crestron, Media Matrix and Scala digital signage software.
The heart of the issue was, “How do we automate an A/V event based upon a jackpot?”
The answer was to use the SDS data stream. By parsing the data via Crestron programming, triggered events (based upon jackpot amounts) were made possible. When a jackpot hits, digital signage monitors and the foreground music system are “switched” to play jackpot content.
